Tina and I have been serving Glendive Assembly of God since January of 2017 and have grown to love our church family and our community. Previously I was the pastor of Clark Assembly of God in Clark, SD for 11 wonderful years. Moving to Glendive was not easy for us because it was our first move without our kids since going into the ministry in 1992. Leaving our church in Clark was tough but moving 8-10 hours away from our children and grandchildren was certainly the most difficult part of our decision. Nevertheless, Tina and I know that we are exactly where God wants us and are grateful for the advances in technology that make communicating with family over long distances possible.
I grew up on a farm near Dazey, ND, attended the Assembly of God church from birth and went to Trinity Bible College to get ministerial training in 1988. I’ve always enjoyed the great outdoors as a sportsman, participated in a variety of sports, and was able to be a part of the winningest football team in TBC history. Tina grew up in Cambridge, MN, attended the local Assembly of God church since she was a little girl and enjoyed baseball and softball. We first met at a TBC College Days, dated during our sophomore year of college and got married before I began my junior year. Levi was born shortly before I graduated in 1992, Ashley was born in 1994 and Jessica was born a year and one day later in 1995. All our children are married and are having families of their own and we are so thankful that they are serving the Lord and raising their children to know and love the Lord too.
The Glendive Assembly of God church family has welcomed us with open arms. Our church leaders, staff and ministry volunteers are anticipating great things for the Glendive community and the ministries we are developing. In addition to the ministries we are providing, we desire to work alongside other church ministries and leaders as well. Each individual church can make a small impact in a community, but when churches work together to reach the lost and hurting, it brings revival. Come visit us this Sunday and join with us as we worship the Lord in song. Come with an expectation of hearing God through the preaching of His Word. Come and know that your prayers will be heard and trust the Lord with His answer. God’s love for you is more than words can say, but we hope to show you that love in person whenever you are able to join us. We look forward to meeting you soon and pray God’s greatest blessings upon you.
